Not All Scams

The archive refuses two shortcuts: that a useful idea excuses every system built around it, and that a failed system proves every use of cryptography is empty.

The XMR chapter preserves a reason to care about privacy. The failure index preserves reasons to inspect custody, incentives and claims. Holding both does not require making them cancel each other out.

A verdict belongs to a particular mechanism and its evidence. The term scam should not be used as a substitute for understanding an insolvency, a protocol error, or a proven fraud.
